Dear friends and family of Audience of One,

Audience of One has closed it's doors. We feel that the Christian Gaming scene has changed from what it used to be and is grown to have a bad name. Reasons such as the forcing of beliefs down others throats and angry admins screaming at people for cursing instead of correcting in love amongst other things has hurt many Christian gaming ministries such as this all over the net. We have stopped reaching the lost and are only making more friends with more Christians. It was never Ao1's goal to gather more Christian friends but instead to reach out to those that needed it. This goal seems to have been thrown to the wayside by many Christian clans. This is not to say we haven't made our own mistakes but our eyes have been opened to things that need to simply change.

I believe for the reasons above and others as well that Christianity has lost it's appeal to many and is no longer an attraction to those who need God. We have focused more on getting trophies and looking cool than we have on being Christ like and that gets us nothing but pride that blinds us from the very love that God wants us to spread. Hopefully you'll understand what I'm talking about and I pray as I write this that anyone who reads this does.

I'd like to thank the many people over the years that have contributed their time, prayers and love into Ao1 including those from other clans. Without you, the successes of Ao1 would have never been possible. If any of you would still like to keep in contact with me and maybe have a LAN party or two sometime please feel free to email or call me.

In short, we are moving on and some of us have already decided to join a new clan that we befriended that is not Christian based but does welcome people of all kinds and demands that everyone respect those around them and play with what I like to call "class" and dignity. You are welcome to check out this clan at www.RTVclan.net. I hope to see you all around and encourage you to visit [RTV] and may God guide and bless you all!

Regards,
Zorlofe
